| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing left, her elaborately coiffed hair falling in curls over her shoulder, rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail. The birth and death years '1717' and '1780' appear in the field to either side of the effigy, with the date '1967' inscribed in the lower exergue. The surrounding legend reads 'MARIA THERESIA IMPERATRIX GER', separated by dot stops, disposed around the upper periphery of the coin. |
