Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Anselm Francis of Ingelheim facing right, wearing ecclesiastical vestments with decorative pectoral ornament, his hair rendered in flowing curls in the Baroque manner. The effigy is set within an inner circle, with the abbreviated Latin legend disposed around the periphery separated by dot stops. The portrait displays the finely modelled facial features and rich drapery typical of late 17th-century German ecclesiastical coinage.
