Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Andreas Jakob von Dietrichstein facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail typical of mid-18th century Austrian ecclesiastical coinage. The subject wears clerical vestments, his hair styled in period fashion with curled locks. The encircling legend reads ANDREAS D : G · ARCH · ET · PRINCEPS, interrupted at the base of the bust by the engraver's initials MK. The portrait displays the accomplished hand of engraver Franz Matzenkopf, with a well-modelled face and strong jawline set against a flat field.
