| Obverse description | Central field bears the quartered royal arms of Castile, León, Aragón, and Granada, surmounted by an imperial crown, all within an inner beaded circle. The shield displays the characteristic castles of Castile and lions of León in the upper quarters, with the vertical pales of Aragón and the pomegranate of Granada in the lower quarters. The arms are flanked by decorative foliate or heraldic supporters. A continuous Latin legend in uncial characters encircles the design between the inner beaded border and the irregular hammered rim, invoking the authority of Ferdinand over Gelderland and the County of Zutphen. |

| Reverse description | Two facing crowned busts in profile, confronted at center within an inner beaded circle — a male ruler to the left and a female consort to the right, both wearing crowns and draped attire rendered in the late medieval style typical of hammered Low Countries gold coinage. The mintmark letters G and S.T. appear in the field between the busts, denoting Gelderland and Zutphen. A continuous Latin legend in uncial characters surrounds the inner beaded border, reading the pious motto asserting divine authority over earthly kingdoms, bounded by the irregular hammered edge of the flan. |
