Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Constantine II facing left, rendered in a clean, modernist style. The legend ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ (Constantine King of the Greeks) curves along the upper periphery. The date appears in the lower field, flanked by two dots. The engraver's signature is visible in the lower right field beneath the portrait.

Reverse description A uniformed soldier stands at attention before a stylised phoenix rising from flames, the emblem adopted by the military junta. The commemorative date of the coup, 21 ΑΠΡΙΛΙΟΥ 1967 (April 21, 1967), appears in the field, with the denomination 2 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ flanked by dots in the lower exergue. The peripheral legend reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ (Kingdom of Greece).
