Reverse description The elaborate quartered arms of the Gonzaga dynasty displayed on an ornate escutcheon surmounted by a ducal crown, with the motto FIDES inscribed on a ribbon across the shield. The quarterings include the imperial eagle, the Gonzaga arms, and additional heraldic elements referencing the dual dominions of Mantua and Montferrat. The shield is surrounded by a decorative cartouche and flanked by elaborate acanthus-scroll mantling. A circular Latin legend along the periphery reads ET MONTIS FERRATI IV C T, referencing the Marquisate of Montferrat, with the mintmaster's initials C T appearing in the lower field. A beaded border frames the entire reverse design.
