| Reverse description | Quartered heraldic shield of the Cybo-Malaspina family displayed at center, surmounted by a princely crown with visible fleurons and arched band. The escutcheon is divided into four quarters combining the cross of the Cybo arms in the upper dexter quarter with the chequered bend of the Malaspina arms in the lower sinister quarter, with additional heraldic charges completing the quartering. The shield is flanked by elaborate Mannerist-style cartouche scrollwork. The circumferential Latin legend S★R★I★ET★MASSAE★PRINCEP★I★4★ encircles the design, separated by star ornaments, with the numeral 4 appearing at the base of the legend, all within a beaded border. |
