| Obverse description | The obverse of this scallop shell-shaped coin features the Coat of Arms of Fiji centered within a recessed circular field. The arms are supported by two Fijian warriors in traditional dress, one holding a spear and the other a palm frond, flanking a quartered shield surmounted by a sailing vessel and bearing a motto ribbon inscribed 'Rerevaka na Kalou ka doka na Tui' at the base. The legend 'FIJI 2019' arcs along the upper field, with '1 OZ' to the left and '.999 FINE SILVER' to the right, while '2 DOLLARS' is inscribed prominently along the lower portion of the field. |
