Behind the vehicle, a skyline featuring the Stuttgart television tower and a domed exhibition hall is rendered in silver against a dark mirror-like background. Above, the legend MERCEDES 300 SL ROADSTER (1957-1963) arcs along the upper rim, accompanied by a stylized steering wheel motif and the numeral 125. The year -2014- appears to the lower left, and the inscriptions Road Legends and 125 YEARS OF AUTOMOBILE are arranged across the lower portion of the field within a beaded border.
