The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. The legend reads ELIZABETH II 1952-2022 flanking the portrait, with AUSTRALIA 2023 and the engraver's initials JC also present in the field. This commemorative obverse was adopted following the passing of Her Majesty in September 2022. |
