A front-facing portrait bust of King George VI is positioned at right, with the Coat of Arms of British Honduras at left. The note carries the issuing authority title and legal tender clause across the upper and lower registers.

The design is dominated by two large symmetrical oval lathe-work vignettes flanking a central rectangular panel, with intricate geometric and floral guilloche patterns filling the entire field.
