Reverse description Central colored design featuring a coiled snake rendered in high relief against a vivid red enamel background, its body intricately scaled and looped upon itself. To the lower right of the serpent appears the Chinese character 蛇 (snake). The curved legend YEAR OF THE SNAKE arcs along the upper border, with the inscription 999 FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ reading vertically along the left side of the inner circle.
