Additional information

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank serves eight island territories under a single currency union — one of the few functioning monetary unions outside the Eurozone. These colourized collector issues, produced under license and typically struck at the Royal Canadian Mint or Perth Mint facilities, exist almost entirely outside circulation; the working 2-dollar coin in the Eastern Caribbean is an aluminum-bronze piece nobody confuses for silver.

KM#24.1 distinguishes this from the non-colourized variant of the same type.
