Reverse description Full-color sculptural depiction of Stuart, the one-eyed Minion character from the Despicable Me animated franchise, rendered in vivid polychrome color printing. The character is portrayed holding a partially peeled banana in his left hand, dressed in his characteristic blue denim dungarees with front pocket and cross-stitched straps. His single large goggled eye with a brown iris is prominently featured, and his yellow cylindrical body fills the entire irregular shaped flan. The coin's contour follows the silhouette of the character, with no inscriptions on the reverse.

Additional information

Niue has issued silver bullion and collector coinage under license since the 1990s, its sovereign status allowing it to produce legal tender for international numismatic markets — revenue that meaningfully supplements the island's limited GDP. The "Stuart" designation places this piece within a themed series, a format Niue's mint partners have used extensively to drive collector completions.

KM#4399 cross-references a New Zealand Mint production run. Niue itself has no minting facility.
