| Additional information |
Pikk Hermann — the tower at the corner of Toompea Castle in Tallinn — has flown the Estonian tricolor continuously since 1991, restored after five decades of Soviet occupation during which the flag was banned outright. Niue's arrangement with various mints to produce fractional gold collector pieces under its legal tender framework is a long-running licensing operation; the country itself has no gold resources and issues no circulating coinage of its own.
