| Reverse description | The central field features a deep blue color-printed background depicting a star-filled cosmos, against which a gold-plated relief of the Parkes Radio Telescope dish and its support structure occupy the left and center, with the telescope's control building rendered below. A large partially visible Moon in grey tones occupies the right field. Two circular vignettes present photographic inserts: the upper showing the first bootprint left on the lunar surface, and the lower depicting an astronaut standing on the Moon's surface. Decorative stylized star motifs are scattered across the field, and a small blue gemstone accent is set at the center of one star.
