Additional information

Niue has operated as a licensing vehicle for the New Zealand Mint's pop-culture bullion program since the early 2000s, with the island nation's legal tender framework used to attach face values to coins that will never circulate on the island itself. The Knights of Ren — introduced in the sequel trilogy and given expanded backstory in The Rise of Skywalker (2019) — represent one of the later additions to a long line of Disney/Lucasfilm licensing agreements that have produced dozens of Niue-issued Star Wars pieces.

KM#4355 sits in a crowded field of similar releases. Secondary market premiums track Disney licensing cycles more than numismatic demand.
