| Reverse description | Detailed architectural view of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra (Kyiv Monastery of the Caves), depicted in high relief against a mirror-polished field, showing the iconic Baroque facade with multiple onion domes surmounted by Latin crosses. The central design is framed by a gilt ornamental border of interlaced foliate and scrollwork motifs rendered in gold plating. Three faceted red Swarovski crystals are set into the corners of the gilt frame — one at the apex and one at each lower corner — adding vivid chromatic contrast. The engraver's initials SM appear discreetly in the lower portion of the design. |
