| Additional information |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank serves eight island territories under a single currency union — one of the few functioning monetary unions outside the Eurozone — but its commemorative collector program operates largely as a revenue stream rather than circulating necessity. The Ruby-throated Hummingbird has particular association with several ECCB member states, most directly Trinidad, though Trinidad left the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority decades before this coin was struck.
KM#27.1 distinguishes this as the colourised variant within the issue.
