| Obverse description | The diademed effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II facing right is displayed in high relief at the center of a richly ornate Fabergé-style jewel egg rendered in the Art Nouveau manner, with elaborate foliate and scrollwork decoration framing the oval cartouche. The egg rests upon an ornamental stand featuring winged figures and acanthus scrolls.
