Obverse description The obverse bears the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicting the Queen in right-facing profile with a diademed and draped bust. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs to the left of the effigy, with NIUE at the top and TWO DOLLARS to the right, all within a circular arrangement. The date 2022 appears below the portrait, and the inscription 1 oz 999 Fine Silver © & ™ Lucasfilm Ltd. is engraved in the lower field. The engraver's initials IRB appear on the truncation of the bust. The entire design is set within a shaped flan conforming to the silhouette of Grogu's hovering pram pod.

Reverse description The reverse presents a highly detailed, full-color sculptural depiction of Grogu — the infant Force-sensitive character from the Star Wars series The Mandalorian — seated within his iconic hovering pram pod. The character is rendered with large expressive dark eyes, prominent ears, and green skin, wearing his customary brown robe, and is shown peering over the rim of the pod with small clawed hands gripping its edge. The pram pod itself is faithfully reproduced in high relief with fine mechanical detailing including rivets, panels, and a rectangular display unit on its front face. The coin's shaped flan is die-cut to replicate the distinctive silhouette of the floating pram, including lateral armature protrusions, giving the piece a three-dimensional sculptural quality. No legends appear on the reverse, with all inscriptions reserved for the obverse.
