| Obverse lettering | EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK 1 OZ .999 SILVER QUEEN ELIZABETH II TWO DOLLARS |
| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a magnificent frigatebird (Fregata magnificens), the national bird of Antigua and Barbuda, rendered in vivid applied colour with iridescent blue-black plumage and a prominent scarlet throat pouch, perched upon a rocky coastal cliff face extending from the right side of the field. The ocean and distant rocky shoreline form the background in mirror-proof finish, while the date '2021' appears above the legend 'ANTIGUA & BARBUDA' in stylised serif lettering near the upper rim. A beaded inner border encircles the entire design. |

| Additional information |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank serves eight island territories under a single currency union — one of the few functioning monetary unions outside the Eurozone. The frigatebird has appeared on Eastern Caribbean coinage since the 1980s, making this colourised silver issue a modern reinterpretation of a design with genuine regional longevity rather than a manufactured connection to local identity.
