| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular Aurum gold note features a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem, rendered in high relief against an elaborate guilloché-patterned field evoking banknote security printing. The portrait is set within a circular rosette of fine engraved scrollwork at the centre of the note. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs above the effigy in bold serif capitals, while COOK ISLANDS and the date 2022 appear below. Shield-shaped cartouches in each lower corner carry the denomination 1/200 OZ, and stylized numeral 2 ornaments appear in the upper and lower corners of the field.
