| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation of the bust. The Queen is depicted wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. A circular border separates the central effigy from the surrounding legend, which reads QUEEN ELIZABETH II along the upper arc, with 2OZ 9999 SILVER to the left and TUVALU 2 DOLLARS to the right, and the date 2019 at the base.
