Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, laureate and draped, set within a central roundel and flanked symmetrically by laurel (Laurus nobilis) branches extending along the lower field. The peripheral legend encircles the design, recording the issuing authority, metal fineness, weight, and denomination.
