| Obverse description | Fourth-generation right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, finished in 24-karat gold plating against a black ruthenium-plated field, imparting a striking two-tone contrast. The Queen is depicted diademed and draped, her portrait rendered in fine relief with intricate detail to the hair and crown.
