The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank doesn't issue circulating silver coinage — this is a bullion and collector piece produced under the ECCB's authority for numismatic export rather than regional monetary use. The Brown Pelican depicted is the national bird of Barbados and Saint Martin, both constituent territories of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union, though the bird ranges widely across the entire Lesser Antilles.
