Additional information

Brimstone Hill Fortress on St. Kitts was built primarily by enslaved Africans under British military direction between the late 17th and early 19th centuries, and survived a notable French siege in 1782 before the British retook it the following year under the Treaty of Paris. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. The ECCB's collector series drawing on Eastern Caribbean landmarks has been issued in both colourised and standard finishes, with the colourised strikes typically commanding a modest premium in the secondary market.
