| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, executed in high relief after the design by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The portrait is set within a circular cartouche formed by elegantly sweeping foliate branches bearing small leaves, which extend across the mirrored field in a decorative arc. The legend ELIZABETH II runs along the lower border, flanked by the Czech Mint mark and decorative floral stops, while NIUE ISLAND arcs across the upper border.
