Reverse description A kookaburra, rendered in high relief with exceptional feather detail characteristic of Perth Mint proof coinage, is depicted perched on a branch facing left against a mirror-polished field. To the upper left of the bird appears a small gilt privy mark depicting a sovereign of King Edward VII. The legend THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA arcs along the left periphery, with 2 OZ and 999 SILVER inscribed vertically along the right. The date 1994 appears in the lower exergual area, flanked by raised dots, all within a beaded border.
