Bradbury Wilkinson handled early printings of this series before De La Rue absorbed the firm in 1986 — notes from the late 1980s may carry BW imprints while later runs fall squarely under TDLR production, which complicates attribution of undated intermediate issues. Siwatibau served as Governor from 1984 to 1987 and again from 1989 to 1999, meaning the 1988-signature notes likely fall within a brief transition period worth checking against the specific issue date.
Fiji maintained the dollar following independence, having decimalised in 1969 during the colonial period.
