Obverse description The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicting a circular medallion featuring a stylised flowering plant rendered in traditional Niuean decorative motifs, surrounded by a wreath of olive branches flanking both sides, with two crossed native clubs below. The seal is surmounted by a royal crown. A scroll beneath the central device bears the inscription ATUA / NIUE TUKULAGI in two lines. The legend TWO DOLLARS arcs across the upper field, and the date 2023 appears in the lower field.

Reverse description A seated rabbit rendered in a stylised, elegant outline occupies the central field, facing right, its body decorated with floral motifs including blossoms and petals. A flowering branch with blossoms rises to the left of the rabbit. The Chinese character 兔 (rabbit) is prominently inscribed in the upper left field. The border is composed of a continuous geometric Greek-key meander pattern. The inscription 1 oz 999 FINE SILVER appears along the lower inner border.
