Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a tall Ionic column rising from the lower field to the upper register, its capital adorned with volutes and a spiral motif. Affixed to the shaft at center is a raised circular medallion decorated with a Greek meander (key) pattern enclosing a stylized all-seeing eye in relief. The background is divided into two engraved scenes in an etching-like style: to the left, a group of classical philosophers in discussion; to the right, the Acropolis of Athens with the Parthenon. The border is ornamented with a continuous Greek meander frieze, and the legend VIVAT HUMANITAS appears twice along the left and right margins. A ribbon scroll at the base of the column bears the inscription 1oz FINE SILVER 9999, while the Greek word δημοκρατία is inscribed near the column capital.
