| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicting a stylised flowering plant set within a circular ornamental border of traditional Polynesian zigzag motifs, the whole surmounted by a royal crown. The seal is encircled by a wreath of leaf-shaped decorative elements. A scroll below the seal bears the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI, and two crossed traditional spears appear beneath. The denomination 2 DOLLARS is inscribed in large letters along the upper rim, with the date 2024 along the lower rim. |
