| Reverse description | The reverse presents a finely detailed artistic composition of three overlapping Joachimsthalers (Jáchymov Thalers), the celebrated Bohemian silver coins that gave the world the word 'dollar', set against a crosshatched globe-like background. Each thaler displays the Bohemian lion rampant at centre, surrounded by the partial Gothic inscription BOEMIE LVDO referencing the Bohemian royal title, with beaded and rope borders faithfully reproducing the originals. A third thaler is partially visible at right, showing a crowned shield design. The encircling legend reads CZECH REPUBLIC · JOACHIMSTHALER · along the upper and left rim, with 1 oz FINE SILVER 999 · along the right rim. |
