| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue is depicted at upper right within a rectangular cartouche, surmounted by a royal crown and encircled by an ornamental wreath, with crossed spears beneath and the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI on a scroll. To the left, a dramatically rendered draped cloth and a large feather fan extend across the field in high relief, evoking a ceremonial Polynesian aesthetic.
