| Obverse description | The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue as the central device, depicting a stylised plant motif within a circular medallion framed by a chevron-patterned border, surmounted by a royal crown. The seal is flanked on either side by a wreath of laurel-like leaves, with two crossed ceremonial implements at the base. A scroll beneath the central device bears the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination TWO DOLLARS arcs along the upper legend, and the date 2023 appears in the lower field. |
