| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue is depicted in the upper portion of the field, consisting of a crowned central roundel enclosing a palm tree, surrounded by a wreath of leaves and surmounted by a royal crown, with crossed paddles and a ribbon scroll below bearing the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination TWO DOLLARS appears as a legend above the seal. In the lower half of the field, a stylised depiction of a boxing ring corner post with ropes extends across the coin, rendered in high relief.
