| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue rendered in high relief occupies the lower left quadrant of the obverse field, depicting a crowned circular shield bearing a stylized palm tree, encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE and flanked by two crossed native clubs, with the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed on a scroll below.
