Niue's arrangement with the New Zealand Mint has produced dozens of legal-tender issues bearing the island's name but manufactured entirely in Auckland for a collector market that will never see these coins in circulation. Charles III succeeded Elizabeth II in September 2022, making 2025 issues among the earliest strikes to carry his effigy on a maturing secondary-market series.
