| Obverse description | The coin is struck in the outline shape of a Fender Jazzmaster electric guitar, viewed from the rear. The body and neck of the guitar are rendered in high relief against a geometric three-dimensional cube optical illusion pattern that fills the entire field. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appears in profile facing right at the center of the guitar body, with the legend ELIZABETH II inscribed vertically along the upper left edge of the neck. The denomination $2 appears at the lower right of the body, and the date 2024 is inscribed vertically below the queen's name. A serialized holographic security tag is affixed to the neck of the guitar near the body junction, and the inscription SOLOMON ISLANDS runs horizontally along the neck. |
