| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue is displayed prominently in the upper right quadrant of the field, crowned and surrounded by a wreath, with crossed paddles beneath and the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed on a ribbon. The legend NIUE ISLAND 2024 arcs along the upper right, with the denomination 2 DOLLARS and the fineness mark Ag 925 positioned below the seal. The left and lower portions of the field are richly decorated with a profusion of finely engraved floral motifs in low relief, including roses and small blossoms. At lower left, a recessed circular capsule contains a small rose-gold colored angel figurine holding a heart, free to move within the inset. The overall design combines a proof-finish mirrored background with satin-relief floral elements. |
