| Obverse description | Central field features the Public Seal of Niue — a crowned circular arms device depicting two palm trees flanked by decorative supporters — rendered in high relief against a finely engraved background of tropical foliage. The body of a large anaconda coils prominently across the lower portion of the rectangular planchet, its distinctive scale pattern rendered in intricate detail. The snake's form extends beyond the rectangular border of the coin, creating a sculptural three-dimensional effect characteristic of shaped-coin issues.
