Additional information

Marvel licensed its characters to the Perth Mint through a long-running arrangement that has produced dozens of legal-tender issues on behalf of Niue, a self-governing territory in free association with New Zealand whose name appears on coins it will never see in circulation. Fantastic Four #5, published in July 1962, introduced Doctor Doom — arguably the single most consequential villain debut in the Silver Age.
