Obverse description Bare-headed, draped bust of His Majesty King Charles III facing left, sculpted by Canadian artist Steven Rosati, set within the gold-toned aluminium-nickel-bronze centre of the bimetallic flan. The legend CHARLES III is inscribed along the left arc of the outer nickel steel ring, and D G REX along the right arc, both in raised capital letters. The date 2025 appears at the bottom of the ring below the central disc. The portrait captures the King in a naturalistic, contemporary style with fine detail in the hair and collar.
