| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue is depicted at center, consisting of a circular shield bearing a stylized floral and arrow motif surrounded by a traditional Polynesian zigzag border, surmounted by a royal crown. The seal is flanked by two crossed traditional Niuean paddles below and framed by a decorative field of concentric scalloped relief patterns radiating outward across the entire coin surface. The legend 'PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE' arcs around the upper portion of the seal, with 'ATUA' and 'NIUE TUKULAGI' inscribed on a ribbon below. The denomination 'TWO DOLLARS' appears in the upper field and the date '2023' in the lower field, with the fineness mark 'Ag 999' to the right and the Lithuanian Mint mark to the left. |
