| Additional information |
Cornelius Fudge is the fictional Minister for Magic in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series — a bureaucrat more interested in political survival than confronting Voldemort's return. Niue has issued legal tender coinage under licensing agreements with major entertainment properties for decades, and the Harry Potter series has generated numerous issues through the New Zealand Mint, which produces Niue's collector coins. This piece falls squarely in that program.
Charles III's effigy appears as head of state of Niue, a self-governing territory in free association with New Zealand.
