Reverse description The reverse features a stylised, concentric circular design derived from the Torres Strait Islander Flag, rendered in applied colour with alternating bands of green and blue radiating outward from a central device. At the centre, the traditional dhari (headdress) motif of the flag is depicted in relief against a blue field, symbolising Torres Strait Islander identity and culture. Flanking the central roundel on either side are decorative panels of traditional Islander artistic patterns in the uncoloured aluminium bronze field. The legend 'TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER FLAG' arcs along the upper border, while the commemorative date range '1995 - 2025' is inscribed along the lower arc, with the Canberra mint mark 'C' at lower right.
