| Obverse description | The obverse features two highly detailed relief depictions of Arowana fish (Scleropages sp.) swimming in dynamic poses across the mirror-polished field — one ascending diagonally toward the upper right, the other positioned below and facing left, their finely engraved scales rendered with exceptional realism. To the left, the coat of arms of Fiji is depicted in moderate relief, showing the traditional shield supported by two Fijian warriors, with a banner below. Beneath the arms, the legend reads FIJI in bold capitals, followed by the date 2023 and the denomination 2 DOLLARS, all arranged vertically. Along the lower rim, the inscription 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER is incuse in the exergue. |
