Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in naskh script set within a lobed arch or cartouche, referencing the ruler's name and titles. A secondary legend in the marginal band carries additional text, possibly including the mint name Baghdad and the date expressed in the Hijri calendar. The flan exhibits the irregular edges and variable thickness typical of hammered Ilkhanid-era dirhams. The strike is bold in the central zone with peripheral weakness. The overall composition follows the aniconic epigraphic convention standard to coins of the late Ilkhanid and Jalayirid periods.
